Dr. Bo Bai is the Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Alpha Ladder Group, a Singapore-based green fintech group focused on creating a more inclusive and sustainable future. Alpha Ladder’s subsidiaries provide regulated financial services including a digital green exchange, payment, brokerage services, and end-to-end carbon Software-as-a-Service solutions. Through its offerings and business units, Alpha Ladder supports its clients throughout each step of their decarbonisation journeys in line with the principles of define, measure, mitigate, offset, certify, and finance.
Dr. Bai is also the Chairman and Founder of Asia Green Fund, an award-winning impact private equity firm with around to US$2.5 billion assets under management, focused on accelerating climate tech and sustainability pioneers at the forefront of Asia’s decarbonisation agenda.
Previously, Dr. Bai was a partner and managing director for Warburg Pincus from 2009-2016 where he led its investments in the energy, industrials, and business services sectors in Asia. He has also held senior leadership positions at global financial institutions such as First Reserve Corporation and Goldman Sachs.
Dr. Bai serves as an Investment Committee Member of Three Gorges Green Fund. Dr. Bai also serves as a Board Member of Elessent Cleantech (formerly Dupont Cleantech), Shanghai East Low Carbon Technology, Nanjing Baoying Gases, Beijing Capital Heating, Four Rivers Investment Management, Hosjoy, Low Carbon Environment, and AIPark. Previously, he served as a Board Member of HuiTongDa (9878.HK), Baosteel Gas, AAG Energy, Gulf Coast Energy Resources, and First Green Partners. Dr. Bai is also a founding member of the China Impact Investment Network (CIIN), and a member of ASPEN global leadership network.
Dr. Bai holds a BSc and an MSc in Modern Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China, a degree certificate in the Financial Technology Option from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, and a Ph. D. in Physics from MIT.

Michael Sheren

Michael Sheren is a globally recognised leader in green finance, governance, policy, and technology, with extensive experience in both public and private sectors. As a former Senior Advisor to the Bank of England, he played a key role in shaping financial policies, particularly in climate risk, fintech, and sustainable finance. He co-chaired the G20 Sustainable Finance Study Group alongside China, represented the UK in the Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS), and contributed to the digital green bond initiative within the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) Innovation Hub. Michael also co-founded the Bank of England’s Fintech Accelerator, advancing innovation in financial technology.
Beyond policymaking, Michael is a strategic advisor and board member for high-impact GreenTech and GreenFinTech firms, mentoring C-suite executives and industry leaders driving climate-focused financial innovation. He is a Fellow at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) and a Senior Advisor to the UNDP Sustainable Finance Hub, working on initiatives that align global finance with sustainability and ESG principles.
With over 25 years in investment banking, Michael has held senior roles at leading global financial institutions in New York and London, specialising in debt capital markets, structured finance, and private equity transactions. He holds Master’s degrees from Harvard University, the London School of Economics (LSE), and New York University (NYU), along with a BA from George Washington University. His expertise continues to influence the transition towards a more sustainable and technology-driven financial system.

Dr. Huang Kuan

Dr. Huang Kuan is a driving force in sustainable innovation, forging a distinctive path in an era defined by rapid environmental and technological change. He is Partner and Senior Managing Director at Asia Green Fund Management, as well as Managing Director of Investment and Head of the Green Technology Research Institute at Asia Green Fund. In these roles, Dr. Huang draws on his deep expertise to drive forward-looking initiatives that advance the adoption of green technologies and sustainable practices.
Before joining Asia Green Fund, Dr. Huang built a distinguished career at the intersection of climate science, technology, and policy. He led product marketing at Picarro, a Silicon Valley-based pioneer in laser-based technologies and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for environment, semi-conductors and public utilities. His work at Picarro sharpened his understanding of market dynamics and innovation, shaping his strategic approach to driving sustainable impact.
Dr. Huang also brings valuable experience from the public sector, having served as “Climate and Global Change Fellow” with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) under the U.S. Department of Commerce.
With a rare combination of scientific rigour, strategic vision, and passion for sustainability, Dr. Huang is not only a key player in the green technology movement but also one of its architects. His leadership reflects a deep belief in the power of innovation to solve urgent global challenges and a relentless drive to translate ideas into action.
Dr. Huang continues to push boundaries, championing novel solutions that deliver real environmental progress. His work has a meaningful impact both locally and globally, positioning him as a catalyst for change. Through his efforts, he remains committed to transforming the vision of a sustainable future into tangible reality—proving that with dedication, ingenuity, and collaboration, a better world is within reach.
Dr. Huang holds a Bachelor’s degree from Peking University, M.Phil. from the University of Hong Kong and a Ph.D. from Princeton University.

Dr. Kimmis Pun

Dr. Kimmis Pun is a highly respected banking professional with over 40 years of experience across Asia. She currently serves as Managing Director of Asia Green Family Office and Managing Director of FA Corp Tax Advisory in Singapore , where she specialises in guiding High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) through the complexities of wealth structuring, investment strategy, and succession planning.
Dr. Pun’s distinguished career includes senior leadership roles at some of the world’s most prominent financial institutions, such as UBS, HSBC, Bank of America, BNP Paribas, Standard Chartered, Maybank, VP Bank, and EFG Bank. She has played a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape across Indonesia, Malaysia, the Middle East, and the Greater China region, delivering bespoke solutions to Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWIs). Her extensive experience across corporate and investment banking, private banking, trustee and family offices enables her to craft holistic strategies tailored to the evolving needs of sophisticated clients.
A lifelong learner, Dr. Pun earned her Doctorate in Business Administration. Her dedication to professional excellence is further demonstrated through her leadership in the financial planning sector. She has previously served as a board director of the US-based Financial Planning Standards Board and as President of the Financial Planning Association of Singapore—contributing significantly to the advancement of industry standards and best practices.
Currently, Dr. Pun is Chair of the Wealth Planning Standards Board, where she leads research and innovation in wealth structuring and legacy planning. A passionate advocate for philanthropy and continuous education, she is a frequent speaker at international conferences, a regular contributor to financial publications, and a guest lecturer at leading universities in Singapore and the region.
Dr. Pun is also well regarded for her contributions to financial literacy. Commissioned by Estate Planning Practitioners Limited (EPPL), she developed the curriculum for the Accredited Estate Planner (AEPP) programme and continues to teach AEPP courses throughout the Greater China region.
